The Wash and Wax Process
Here is a general breakdown of what the exterior detail process looks like:
Clean Wheels and Tires:
A proper detail starts at the wheels. Using a variety of brushes, we spray our cleaner, scrub, and rinse to remove the grime and break dust.
Thorough Hand Wash:
Next, we wash the vehicle from top to bottom including cleaning the door jambs, gas cap, and remove bugs off front end.
Dry Vehicle With Soft Microfiber Cloth:
After washing and rinsing all the soap off the vehicle we dry the vehicle using soft microfiber towels, ensuring the vehicle is dry and ready for any wax spray or sealant
Apply Layer Of Spray Wax And Sealant:
Once the paint is prepped, we can apply a quality wax or sealant to add that layer of shine and protection.
Clean Exterior Glass And Windows:
Adding some of the last finishing touches, we’ll clean your exterior glass and windows to give you crystal clear vision.
Dress Tires:
Finally, we’ll dress the tires with a water-based dressing to make them shine (they’ll have a neat wet look to them once applied. No sticky greasy dressing here).

It’s not rocket science to wash a car, but there are methods that produce better results than your typical $10 car wash.
If you’re looking for a fast and cheap option to get your car washed in Passaic, we most likely won’t be a great fit for you. We take the wash process further to provide a higher quality level of service and results.
We call it our Premium Wash. We’ll wash the vehicle to remove everyday dirt/grime, bird poo, and dust using proper washing and drying methods. This will greatly reduce the chances of surface scratching and causing swirls.

Do you come to me?
Yes, we're a fully-contained mobile detailing unit. We can preform the wash at your home, apartment, or work location. We service Passaic, Clifton, Paramus, Saddle River, Ho-Ho-Kus, Fort Lee, Ridgewood, Wayne, North Haledon, Hackensack, and many more more locations in the New Jersey area.
We don't charge a mobile fee, but based on how far you are, we might require a minimum price for us to go out.
How long does the wash process take?
It depends on the size and condition of the vehicle, but generally speaking between one to three hours.
Do you need access to water and power?
We do not. We carry everything we need onboard on our van to get the job done. The most important thing is having access to the vehicle and enough room to work comfortably.
Does this include wax?
Yes. This wash includes a spray wax that will provide shine and protection that will last a few weeks. If you'd like to add a deeper level of shine and protection to your vehicles paint, then i suggest you check out our Paint Correction service.
What kind of wax do you use?
We have a few brands that we use like Chemical Guys, Turtle Wax, P&S Detailing, Carpro, and more. So it comes down to what we are working on and what we decide is best fitting.
How long will the wax last?
It’s all depends how you store your car and what wax or ceramic coating you choose to go with. If it’s garaged at work and at home 80% of the time, then it can last between four weeks to 3 years. If you have your car sitting out in the sun, cold, and rain 100% of the time, then maybe you can get 1 or 2 weeks to 3 years out of it.
Also, if you wash your car with dish soap, then you’ll start stripping the protective layer of wax off your paint.
Does this remove scratches from my paint?
Applying a wax will hide the micro-light swirls in your paint. They’re essentially “filled in” with the wax which creates more shine. So technically it does hide the really light swirls, but it does not actually remove any of them. You’d want to get paint correction if you want them removed.
Nonetheless, your paint will look much glossier because the wax creates a more “flat” surface.
